3 Great Ideas To Eliminate Wasted Space In Your HomeDecember 31, 2013
Whether you have a large or small home, you can have wasted space. You may have been visiting someone and noticed that they have a lot of space to spare. You may look around and say, “this would like nice here” or “that would look nice there.” When you have areas or “blank” spaces within your home, there are a few great ideas that you can use and personalize that will help you eliminate wasted space within your home.
1. Be Creative
When you are ready to take control of the wasted or “empty” space that is in your home, one of the best things that you can do is be creative. Your creativity is the best way to create unique and personalized items to put in the vacant spaces. You can let your creativity run wild and create endless ideas that you can mix and match in each room in your home.
2. Sort Items and Clean Room-by-Room
9 times out of 10, there are a lot of things in your home that you can get rid of, but you haven’t gotten around to doing it. You will need to take things one room at a time. If you try to do everything at once, you can overwhelm yourself, and delay your progress. In every room, create three different piles of the items that you have. One of the piles should only be items that are necessities for every day, another pile should be items that you can put in storage, and the last pile should be items that you can give away or sell. It would not hurt to clean up along the way.
3. Accept Advice
Have a few of your close friends and relatives come over and see what type of advice they can offer. Give them a tour of your home and see what type of ideas that everyone is able to come up with. Make sure that you tell your friends and relatives a few ideas that you have been considering. It may help with more awesome ideas.
These three great ideas can turn the empty space in your home into a unique place of artwork pictures or other things that you have in mind. Some people use bookshelves and picture frames to enhance the appearance of the space.
