BarA custom home is a wonderful opportunity to let your creativity flow into the house of your dreams. Here are a few new and interesting ideas you can incorporate into your new home. If you are interested in any of these amenities you should talk to your contractor and see what will work out best.

Under the stair winery

For those that love a glass of vino after a long day a small wine cellar under the stairs can be a beautiful and convenient addition to your home. This way you will not need to traverse stairs or stray far from the kitchen. This is a beautiful and simple addition to your custom home. They can be installed quickly and easily by your contractor and will be ready when your custom home is finished. Just be sure you have plenty of wine bottles to christen the new wine rack!

Make your walls magnetic

Magnetic walls can help make a child’s room or workshop clean and tidy. These are simple to install and can make a unique accent wall or sly organizational tool. If you want to have a magnetic wall installed in your home you should contact your contractor before doing so. This way they can work with the wall during installation and before putting up drywall. After it is installed it should be able to hold almost anything metal and keep things like toys or tools off the ground and in magnetic bins or baskets.

Build a bar into your deck

If you enjoy entertaining a bar on your deck can make you home even more comfortable and inviting. You can even place citronella candles throughout the bar to keep mosquitos away and the ambiance warm and welcoming. This is a simple addition to your home that can happen during or after construction.

Master bedroom balcony

A master balcony can be the perfect addition to your new home. This can be the perfect place to sip your morning coffee or enjoy a good book in the late afternoon. If you plan to install a master bedroom balcony you will need to talk to your contractor about construction. If you want the balcony recessed into the roof it will be simple to care for but may be difficult to plan if not given enough time.
